A strong English breakfast style blend, and the builders' tea of our range.

Our house blend earned its name when a friend, drinking it on holiday, declared it "a real early morning belter." A belter, of course, is something outstanding. Just as you might say you'd seen a belter of a rugby match, we say this is a belter of a tea.

This is a blend of the best quality CTC teas from India and Africa. The smaller leaf size delivers an extra strong brew with great flavour.

Rich, malty and full bodied. Strong enough to give coffee a run for its money.

Tasting notes

Notes of dark caramel and earthy warmth from the Assam are lifted by the natural brightness and slight citrus edge of the African leaf, giving the blend an invigorating quality.

Brewing Instructions

Use 1 and a half heaped teaspoons per cup. Pour on freshly boiled water and brew for 3-5 minutes. Best drunk with milk or your plant-based alternative.
