Tea is so much a part of our everyday life that it is easy to take it for granted. The process of getting tea from the bush to our cup involves many different people with different skills from plucker to tea maker.  These people possess great expertise and take great pride and satisfaction from producing top quality tea.

We aim to source the finest teas from estates where the workers and the environment are looked after and respected and this can sometimes also be from estates where organic or bio dynamic farming methods are used.

Every day we try to do our best for the environment in little ways that we hope will make a difference.

We try to reduce waste by buying the right amount in the first place.
We re-use packaging wherever possible.
We try to recycle what we can’t re-use.
We order milk in glass bottles from the milkman. 
We compost our tea waste.
We do not leave appliances on standby.
We try to boil the right amount of water and save any extra hot water in a thermos .
We coordinate deliveries to minimise our carbon footprint.
